Bio	I maintain my main journal over on LiveJournal. I swapped over on 6/6/05. I've made a feed so that any readers here can still read my posts. It's syndicated feed. cai_test. Voila. Vital Statistics I am a twenty-something liberal lesbian librarian. I enjoy playing in fandoms, political activism, eating a little too much, and writing. I’m a Ravenclaw with slight Slytherin leanings. I’m a big fan of well-written slashy fanfic, which there is regrettably not much of. I am quite in love with and am living with my partner, elaby, who is an eminent scholar of Shakespeare and a graduate student of literature. We are as married as we can legally be in the current political climate and hope to have several cats together. I support and strive for equal marriage rights, free speech, separation of church and state, and the protection of individual privacy. I am a member of the ALA and I support the repeal of the USAPATRIOT Act. I am very opinionated and I tend to have a great deal of contentious writings here. You are certainly entitled to disagree, however I reserve the right to tell you (with the same degree of eloquence and respectfulness as accords however you choose to express your own opinions) exactly why I believe that your opinion is wrong, and to end ‘conversations’ that I believe have gotten out of hand. The writing here is not intended for children. I don’t go out of my way to offend anyone or to include deliberately incendiary material. However, these are the writings and observations of an adult, and as such are not for immature readers. This will be your only warning.
